Kalix, Sweden’s pagan black metal act Kvaen will release a new full-length offering titled “The Formless Fires” through Metal Blade Records on June 21st. It is assembled from the following songs:

Multinational melodic death metal supergroup Cemetery Skyline has unleashed a new video single titled “In Darkness”, which you can check out below. It is the second piece of music to emerge from the band thus far, and is expected to feature on their eventual début album, the details of which are yet to be revealed by their label Century Media, however.


The outfit unites Dark Tranquillity’s vocalist Mikael Stanne with Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum’s guitarist Markus Vanhala, Amorphis’ keyboardist Santeri Kallio, Firespawn’s bassist Victor Brandt, and the former Sentenced drummer Vesa Ranta.

Evergrey unveils music video for new track "Say"

Gothenburg, Sweden-formed progressive power metal stalwarts Evergrey have unveiled the official music video for their new track “Say” below. It is featured on their upcoming album “Theories of Emptiness”, which will arrive through Napalm Records on June 07th, and the details around which were revealed in our earlier news item.


Danish fans can look forward to watching the band live at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on September 17th and at Godset in Kolding on September 18th, with Cyhra providing support.

Atmospheric black metal act Blackbraid will be touring Europe in the autumn this year, with Lamp Of Murmuur and Dödsrit providing support, and their route will take them past Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on October 24th.

The Ocean to headline fifth HXC over HXA in Odense in September

Berlin, German’s progressive post-metal luminaries The Ocean have been confirmed as the headliners of the fifth volume of the HXC over HCA concert series taking place at Posten in Odense on September 07th. The line-up for the evening also includes the previously confirmed acts Hexis, Fatal Move, Bones Of Minerva, He Who Saw The Abyss and Black Tritonus.


Tickets for the show cost 180 DKK (+ fees) and are available for purchase via the venue’s website, while more details can be found in the official Facebook event.
